I am proud to announce our forum is four years old today!

As i have said in previous anniversary's, i started this forum one morning on the 19 January 2006 at 04:20am. I didn't know what to expect or what kind of response it would get, I just felt that i could add to the Online Loyalist Movement in my own humble way. It was a real spare of the moment thing which i am really glad i went through with.

We feel that now we are an established online discussion board for both members of the Loyalist Marching Band movement and individuals who support/agree/are interested in it. We as a on-line community promote and encourage our cultural identity, current existence and ever growing development.

The board promotes and encourages constructive debate, resources and ideas to enable all within to strengthen and promote individual bands and the Loyalist Marching Band movement as a whole.

Throughout the past 4 years the board has proven to be a good source for people inside and outside the United Kingdom with an interest in first and foremost the Loyalist Marching band movement, but also Protestantism, Loyalism and Lodges. We keep our membership informed of our current Band scene, our Country's Political state and also encourage the education of our very proud history.

Daily video clips, parade reports and pictures of parades all around Northern Ireland, the mainland and even further afield are among the many attributes of our board. A very proud attribute is that we are a community, like one big family. We as an on-line community have shared a lot of personal ups and downs and have supported each other throughout. Many friendships have been made and bridges built with the promotion of the Marching band scene being paramount in our work.

2009 seen us having our first Charity football tournament which raised £300 for the Life After Loss organisation. It was also the year of our first pool competition and our Forum event, the Get-2-Gether. All of which were a major success.

Like i do every year, on behalf of the Forum Management i would like to take this time to thank each and every user who takes the time to come on here and share their knowledge. I personally thank you from the bottom of my heart, with a big thank you to the Moderators and our recently appointed Admin who have helped me along the way. We have many plans for 2010, lets hope they work out. Unfortunately the Crown Defenders Mossley fb are no longer on the road but the name lives on, on this forum.

Ive repeated this a few times now and ill do it again. Its exceeded my expectations and as always, I just hope it meets yours!
